Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Operative – On-Site (Night-Shift)
Location: London Area (Colnbrook/Slough region) – On-site with free parking available
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Thursday–Monday, 20:00–05:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Data & Parcel Preparation: Enter shipment details into our systems and prepare consignments for export.
- Packing & Dispatch: Accurately pick, pack, label, and load orders to meet tight schedules.
- Forklift Operations: Load and unload vehicles using a forklift (training provided if needed).
- General Warehouse Duties: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, including the yard and loading bay.
- Compliance & Reporting: Follow customs and safety regulations; report any queries or incidents to your supervisor immediately.
- Driving Assignments: Occasional van runs to local sites (UK driving licence required with a maximum of 3 points).
Your Experience & Skills:
- Warehouse/Courier Background: Preferred but not essential – full training on our systems will be provided.
- Computer Literate: Comfortable with data-entry and scanning software.
- Physical Fitness: Able to handle manual lifting and long periods on your feet.
- Forklift Licence: Ideal. If you’re unqualified, we’ll train the right candidate.
Working Conditions & Benefits:
- Hours: Night-shift (20:00–05:00), Thursday–Monday (40 hrs/week).
- Pay: £27,000 per annum plus Night & Weekend allowances.
