Job Description
Pay: £12.96 per hour Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (primary shift; subject to operational requirements) Location: Various locations across the region

What You’ll Do
- Vehicle Checks: Conduct routine inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy in accordance with legal standards.
- Timely Deliveries: Deliver materials safely and on time, maintaining a professional standard at all times.
- Shipment Management: Unload, verify, and log supplier orders—ensuring that goods are accurate and in good condition.
- Documentation: Complete dispatch and delivery paperwork to the required standards, following established processes.
- Damage Reporting: Report and record any damages or discrepancies on delivery documents; assist with sorting or corrective actions as needed.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment by following the 5S procedures and stock rotation practices.
- Continuous Learning: Take part in site training sessions designed to further your personal development and enhance your career prospects.
- Additional Tasks: Support the team with other duties that contribute to an efficient and high-quality warehouse and distribution service.
What You’ll Bring
- Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Driving Credentials: A clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or similar setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong multi-tasking, prioritisation, and time management abilities along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Licences: A valid Forklift Licence is ideal but training may be provided for the right candidate.
